Dinner Menu – Seasonal, local and ethical British food

These are just a few seasonal ideas of what could be on our “Three Counties” dinner menu in 2018. At Lower Buckton we don’t offer a choice at each course however we always ask for our guests’ food likes, loves, hates and any dietary requirements all of which we’re more than happy to cater. At present we are unlicensed so you are welcome to bring whatever wines/beers/spirits you like and we will prepare and serve them for you. There is no corkage charge.


Souffled free-range eggs with fresh herbs from garden and locally made artisan cheese

Homemade chicken liver, garlic, apple & sage pots

Home-cured fish in fresh citrus juices with herbs & fruit gin

Garden greens and herb seasoned soup with garlic & rapeseed oil grilled bread

Wild mushroom & sorrel savory creamy pots

Crisp pastry tart filled with wilted green leaves, blue cheese & organic Herefordshire walnuts

All served with homemade soda bread, organic, grainy breads, crisp toasts as appropriate with English/local/farmhouse butter
